A long slate grey qipao painted with large cream and yellow blooms over soft washes of ink. Pale gold piping traces the mandarin collar, the sleeve edges and the diagonal placket, fastened with pale knot buttons set with pearl-like beads.

The silk is soft against the skin with a little give, and the fit is regular rather than tight. Wear it to a banquet or an evening out, with nude heels and gold earrings.
